You might remember how we clapped and counted, or clapped and chanted rhythms in previous grades. Lets see how much you remember.
***Pro Tip***Bookmark the assessment and use it to practice reading rhythms.***
What do I do?
First, watch the video on how to use the free online app called "The Rhythm Trainer."
Next you are going to listen to a rhythm and correctly form the rhythm based on what you hear. You will do 5 rhythms.
The next thing you will do is 'submit' your assignment.
Take your results and return to 'Modules.' --If you got all the rhythms right, or you missed only 1 --you will go to that page in the module. If you missed more than 1 rhythm you will go to the page that says you missed more than 1.
Follow the instructions on those pages.
How do I do it?
Step 1: Click on the video to watch the instructions.
Step 2: Click on the link to take the assessment at 'therhythmtrainer.com'
Step 3: Submit the assignment by clicking on the link on blue top right of this page 'Submit Assignment.' In the pop up window record your score. (Remember that this is a pre-assessment, don't keep trying to correct your score--only do 5 attempts. This score will tell us if we want to practice more before we create. I have more tools to help you).
