Navigating Bandlab |
After you have signed in, find your teacher's assignment titled "Adding Vocals to a Track”
Click the Start Assignment button to begin. |
Then click the Teacher's Assignment button so it can be "turned in" at the end. |
Create a 45 second song by doing one of the following options: Option 1) You may be asked about what kind of Track you are trying to add (depending how your teacher set up the assignment). Select Voice/Mic - circled here in Green. Then, add loops by using "BROWSE LOOPS" as you did in the assignment from last week. Option 2) "Browse Loops" as you did last week's assignment, then add a vocal track to your mix. |
*Optional - put on your headphones. If you do not have headphones, no worries. They are not necessary. |
When you click the RECORD button to record your voice, you will hear a four beat "count down" before the music begins. Make sure your Microphone has permission, then click Record to say: "Hello, my name is (say your name) and this is my chorus resource assignment" OR be super creative: **Get creative, if you wish. Send sing over your tracks, if you want. Make it your own. There are no wrong answers**
When you are finished, you have 2 options: The Save button will preserve your file so you can work on it later. The Submit button will send the file to your teacher for grading- make sure you only click this button when you are absolutely sure you want to send your assignment to your teacher. |
