Part 2 - Group Project

Part II:  (Group of 2-3) Show Me What You Know! (40 points)

            Pick a topic from units covered this semester (i.e. polynomials, periodic functions, logarithmis and exponentials, etc).  Once the group has decided on a topic, get Mrs. Watson’s approval.  When you have approval for your topic complete the following: 

• Create two (original) problems that have to do with your concept.  Solve them as a group.  SHOW YOUR WORK!  The problems created should be very different from each other and be at the very least a medium level of difficulty.   This will be put on a separate sheet of paper.

• Prepare a presentation/performance activity that demonstrates mastery of this particular concept. (The two original problems from above do not have to be part of your presentation.)   

            Suggestions include:  song, story, video, treasure hunt, model, demonstration, Power Point, poster, or a Prezi.  Be creative and try to get the audience involved somehow!
