WHAT

Learn how to use other shape methods like addPoint (to a polygon), contains, and containsShape.

WHY

Using shape methods allows us to control objects with movement, color/size/position change, collisions, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS

Go to academy.cs.cmu.edu/ and log in. Let me know if you forgot your username or password. If you have not yet joined the CMU classroom, follow these instructions.

 

Section 2.6.4

Complete the learning notes. Your goal is to feel comfortable with the content, so spend as much time interacting with the material as you need. You must complete each checkpoint to unlock the exercises.

 

Section 2.6.5

In this section you will complete a few more coding exercises to practice what you learned.

Pay attention to the required number of points! You don't need to do all of the exercises. Choose enough exercises to total the required number of points. Generally the more points an exercise is worth, the harder it is. 

 

WHAT TO TURN IN

             Tell me in a sentence and/or on a scale of 1-5: 
                    1 = too easy
                    2 = pretty easy
                    3 = just right
                    4 = pretty difficult
                    5 = too difficult
