10/6 - Code.org: U1L10 (lossy compression)

If you missed class: 

Go through the Lesson 10 slides Links to an external site. (slides 148-165) to see what we did in class.

Complete Unit 1 Lesson 10 on code.org

You can do this at home if you run out of time during class. 

1. 1. In AP CS Principles on code.org Links to an external site., find the Unit 1 Lesson 10 drop down. Open it if it's closed.
   2. Interact with the compression widget in (1) and (2). If you were in class, we did this together.
   3. Take a look at the endangered animal image compression art Links to an external site. -- it's open source on GitHub, and written in Python Links to an external site.!
   4. Answer question (3) and be sure to click Submit. When you have completed a question the button turns green or purple.
   5. Also submit this assignment here on Canvas.

There is no product to turn in for this assignment (I'll check the exit ticket on the code.org site), but submitting it lets me know you are ready to be graded.

1. 1. Click the Start Assignment button in the upper right.
   2. In the text box, please put something like "done". (If you completed the activity on time and already have a grade, you don't need to do this.)
