WHAT

Learn how to draw more shapes.

WHY

Creating drawings with code allows us to visually check for mistakes that might otherwise be hard to find. Different shapes make it easier to draw the pictures we imagine.

HOW

CMU Unit 1, sections:

1.2.3 Ovals, Circles, & Stars

1.2.4 Lines, Polygons, & Labels

1.2.5 Exercises

INSTRUCTIONS

Go to academy.cs.cmu.edu/ Links to an external site. and log in. Let me know if you forgot your username or password. If you have not yet joined the CMU classroom, follow these instructions.

Section 1.2.3 & 1.2.4

Complete the learning notes. Your goal is to feel comfortable with the content, so spend as much time interacting with the material as you need. You must complete the checkpoints to get to the exercises.

Section 1.2.5

In this section you will complete a few coding exercises to practice what you learned.

Pay attention to the required number of points! You don't need to do all of the exercises. Choose enough exercises to total the required number of points. Generally the more points an exercise is worth, the harder it is.

                    3 = just right
                    4 = pretty difficult
                    5 = too difficult

      What questions do you have?
             "None" is an acceptable answer if it's true :)
