Music is storytelling. Through music we can understand shades of meaning that aren't present in simple written word. The way the music is crafted builds expectations, expresses inner feelings, and shapes the words to mean something more than they mean at face-value.
This lesson will be about the relationship between Compositional Intent (what the musician meant to say) and Audience Interpretation (what the listener actually heard).
