Some online courses may require proctoring for exams. This means students must come to campus and complete tests in proctoring lab. Proctoring is available at the Matton campus, Kluthe Center (Effingham), Western Regional Center (Pana), and Eastern Regional Center (Marshall). Students should review the frequently asked questions. Click an item to view or use the expand all option to see all items in the list.
Students taking classes that require test proctoring can schedule appointments in HUB/IRIS at any of Lake Land's proctoring centers. Students also have the ability to view previous testing information (history). In the Hub in IRIS section in the left column click Students. In the student menu click Proctor Test Scheduler. Instructors teaching online courses who wish to have tests proctored must contact the Lake Land proctor so the course can be setup in the proctoring scheduling system.
Students should schedule appointments early to insure the preferred time is available. Students must have a photo ID available for check-in when arriving to the proctoring lab.
Students needing assistance with proctor scheduler should call (217) 234-5301.
Can I Schedule My Proctoring Appointment Closer to My Home?
Students wishing to take tests at a site other than one of the locations listed above must have an approved proctor administer all exams. It is the responsibility of the student to secure an acceptable proctor and ensure that a Student-Proctor Agreement form is completed and submitted to the Lake Land College testing center. The student must pay all expenses associated with proctoring exams. Expenses may include envelopes and postage for returning tests or any special proctor fees. Please visit the Testing and Tutoring CenterLinks to an external site. and download the proctoring form for more information.
