What Is the Multi Tool?

The Multi Tool is part of the Design Tools integration that allows instructors to create course content more quickly. Review the numbered items below to learn more. 

1. The Multi Tool is a course menu item that must be enabled in a course. View the following guide for details on how to enable navigation links. Please note the first time you access the multi tool, it will request access to your Canvas account.

2. There are four major components to the multi tool. These include the following:
   1. Templates - You can create page and assignment templates so your content has consistent look. 
   2. Module Builder - The module builder allows you to create your modules all from one page. The templates can be used to create new content based on the templates. This helps to reduce the amount of editing you need to do for each piece of content you create. 
   3. Assignment Due Date Modifier - The due date modifier allows you to adjust your ALL of your assignments due dates and availability dates from one page. 
   4. Delayed Announcement Modifier - This option allows you to adjust the delay date for announcements and bulk delete announcements from one page.
