How to Embed Library Database Content in Canvas
Overview
What Options are Available?
The Library recently acquired several licences for library Infobase databases and the following Infobases have been integrated with the rich content editor in Canvas.
- Films on Demand
- Ferguson's Career and Guidance Center
- Bloom's Literature
- History Research Center
- Issues & Controversies
- Science Online
- Today's Science
The integration works with the rich content editor (See rich content editor tutorial) so when you create an announcement, assignment, discussion, or a Canvas page you can embed content from any of the databases. Please note some databases are text only and others may have options for video and picture content. If you have questions about content, please contact the library reference librarian for help.
