TASK 1
- Create a Canvas page and embed a google slide show

STEPS

Get your "materials" ready:
- Create Google slide show (TIP: Make sure you are consistent with your naming convention. It makes it easier to find what you need later!)
- Create a Canvas Page
- Publish your Google slide show
- Grab the Embed code
- Go to Canvas Page and add the embed code in the HTML Editor window

TASK 2
- Create a Canvas Assignment using a Google Cloud Assignment

Get your "materials" ready:
- Create Google slide show or doc (TIP: Make sure you are consistent with your naming convention. It makes it easier to find what you need later!)
- Create a Canvas Assignment
- On your Canvas Assignment: Click on EDIT
- On the Submission Type: Select EXTERNAL TOO
- On the External Tool: Select Google Cloud Assignment (TIP: You may need to authorize)
- Select your Assignment.
- Click to return to the Assignment window.
- Save.

- Create a Canvas Assignment in which students submit a Google Assignment

- Create Google doc (TIP: Make sure you are consistent with your naming convention. It makes it easier to find what you need later!)
- Create a Canvas Assignment

On your Google Doc,
- change the settings to "anyone who has the link"
- Copy the URL
- On your Canvas Assignment, click on EDIT
- Add instructions that include wording such as "Click here to make your own copy of this google assignment."

Then paste the link for the word "here". (TIP: To make an automatic copy, chagne "edit to copy in the URL"

- On Submission Type, select FILE UPLOAD
- Save.

- Create a Collaboration and invite two or three of your "students" to the party!

STEPS
- Click on Collaboration
- Click on +Collaboration and select Google Apps
- Select the kind of collaboration you want (document, slides or spreadsheet)
- Add the Name of the Collaboration
- Click on the names of students you want in the collaboration
- Click on Submit to start.
