Your final project is to take something we have learned and take it further / do something cool with it. I've listed some examples below. If you have another idea not listed below, you must get it approved by me.

 

Scratch (submit shared link)

  • game, movie, or other coded project 
  • make a Watercolor Bot painting 
  • make a design using code and get a sticker or iron-on transfer made out of it 

 

Stencyl (submit SWF file)

  • add or improve game features, art, sound
  • add game levels

 

Blender 

  • design a 3D print (submit STL file)
    • you will probably need to pick it up during finals -- or maybe next year, depending on how many people choose this option
  • create a still image (submit rendered 100% size PNG image)
  • edit or add on to your movie (submit rendered MP4 file)
  • learn something new using an online tutorial  (submit whatever makes the most sense... PNG, MP4, some other format)

 

Arduino robotics (submit INO file)

  • use the print/println/delay functions to make something artistic or creative
  • add a marker and make your robot draw a picture
  • choose a song and make your robot do a dance to its beat
    • work with other people to do choreography
