Draft of rendered movie
- Due No Due Date
- Points 5
- Submitting a file upload
- File Types mp4
What to do
Make render a rough draft of your movie (it doesn't have to be perfect!):
- render frames into a folder
- add the frames to the Video Sequence Editor (the same place you added sound)
- render a video as an MP4 file
For information about how to do all this, find the Rendering section on the website.
What to submit
Today, turn in a rough draft of your movie as a rendered MP4. (You cannot turn in your .blend file.)
Your rough draft should be at least 720 frames long (30 seconds) and include sound and as much character/camera animation as you were able to get done. Make sure your lighting is good enough that your characters are at least visible.
Next class, come back to this assignment to complete 3 peer reviews. Remember to give at least one positive comment, then give constructive criticism that starts with statements like "I wonder...", "I was confused by...", "I wish...". Use your fresh eyes on each movie to give good feedback about anything that is confusing.
You will have 3 more class periods to make changes to your animation, add a title and credits, and complete your final render.
- May 2/3 - peer reviews, work day
- May 4/7 - title & credits, more work time
- May 8/9 - final render & turn in
