Object Mode: recreate a scene

Choose one of the images below and recreate it using only Object Mode (move, rotate, scale, add objects, duplicate objects). Here is the link to the Blender commands we learned. Take a picture of your creation by positioning the camera, adding a background, adjusting the lighting, and saving a rendered an image (not a screenshot).

Alternate assignment

If you are new to Blender or are feeling unsure about your Blender skills, watch the first 4 videos in this BornCG playlist to create a snowman.

• videos 0, 1, and 2 introduce the Blender interface (feel free to speed up the video a bit in the video settings - look for a gear/flower shaped icon)
• video 3 shows how to use basic commands to build a snowman (follow the instructions in Blender!)

What to submit

Submit a good rendered PNG image of your creation. For information about how to make a rendered image, go to the Blender website and look for the green Rendering Images box.
